On 1 July 2010 several staff changes occurred in the GEA Brewery Systems sales department, further enhancing efficiency.
Graduate engineer
Marc Schreder takes over as “Area Sales Manager Germany, Austria, Switzerland” and will represent our company as Key-Account Manager. Marc studied in Weihenstephan and graduated in 2001 as engineer for brewing and beverage technology. He specialized in plant engineering and since 2004, in his capacity as technological commissioning engineer for our service department, has ensured the return to efficient operation of numerous breweries in Germany and abroad through conducting audits and providing technological support.
In his new capacity Marc Schreder takes over sales-related tasks from
Markus Kunz, who will assume primary responsibility as “Product Manager” for the new brewhouse concept COMPACT-STAR™ (brewhouses with a cast-out quantity between 40 and 100 hl). Markus has been working successfully with our company in the fields of sales, planning and project management since 1985.
Additionally,
John Middleton has been appointed “Sales Representative for Great Britain”. John is well-known to our brewery customers as competent and technically skilled contact person and negotiating partner. He has been working with GEA Brewery Systems since 2004.
Michael Roche has taken over John’s comprehensive sales-related tasks concerning the region of Africa. Having graduated with a degree in Process Engineering, Michael started his career with the GEA Group in 1997. He worked for GEA Group companies in the USA, Germany and China before joining GEA Brewery Systems Kitzingen in 2007. Michael has a worldwide network of contacts and extensive experience in plant engineering and sales throughout the brewing industry.
