Continuous in-line blending systems are mainly used to blend the finished beer. With the DICONTM-B, liquid components are mixed in the pipeline already in a constant ratio. Digitally working controllers keep the mixing ratio constant even in case of a deviating flow rate. The DICONTM-B can directly feed the filler.

Theoretically, the DICONTM-B is able to blend as many components as required, limited only by expenditure and price of the system. The construction of the DICONTM-B mainly consists of the main pipeline, in which the components to be dosed are fed, the dosing sections with feeding pumps and deaeration tanks and, of course, the metering technology to ensure the exact mixing at all. The quality of the flow meters directly influences the mixing accuracy of the DICONTM-B.

Mixers (static or dynamic) are integrated into the system for a homogenous blending of products with different or high viscosities. A mixer is not required if a good blending is ensured by down-stream pumps.

The construction of the continuous in-line blending system with its short pipelines guarantees that product losses are reduced to a minimum.

Special features:

  • Mixing in the pipeline (low space required)
  • High mixing accuracy by using precise flow meters
  • Digitally working controller (without remaining deviations)
  • Low product quantities remaining in the system
  • Systems available for very low and very high capacities
  • Large range of ratios (1:10)

Variations in continuous in-line blending:

  • Continuous in-line blending system DICONTM-B, used in brewereries for original gravity adjustment (HGB procedure)
  • Yeast pitching
